Dorie is an original 1950 caravan for hire to serve refreshments at celebrations and events in and around Hobart. We are able to attend almost anywhere as she is very compact and self-contained with a 12v system, but if public land is to used we need to have confirmation of permission obtained by the booking party.
Complete with everything you need to bring a little vintage charm and sophistication to your next event.
If you're having a wedding, engagement, bridal shower, corporate event, or even a children’s party, Dorie will add a touch of class to your event. We can even attend a wake to offer refreshment service, while you remember your loved one. All you need to do is provide the beverages and nibbles!
Your event with Dorie can include bar staff, glassware, ice, styling decor and everything you need to keep the drinks cold and serve them.
There are a range of services we provide, and with each event being so different we have no standard rate. However basic packages which include 2 hours service with 2 professional bar staff, ice and accessories start at $650.00.
We have vintage glassware available to hire (wine glasses, champagne coupes and liqueur glasses) from $1.00 each. Our crockery consists of mostly fine English china to accommodate up to 100 guests.
Dorie has a small collection of nick-knacks which you are more than welcome to use for styling purposes (blackboard, bunting, photo props, counter top accessories etc…). Dorie also has a selection of lawn games for hire to add that extra bit of fun to your special day.
Dorie does not sell any alcohol, all drinks must be supplied by the event organizer. This way you save money by not having a mark-up and can source your favorite brands.
Our friendly staff will do the washing up and clearing, we provide 2 small rubbish bins however for more substantial refuse, Dorie will not be responsible for rubbish disposal.
Dorie has been fitted with a 35L fridge and 2 x ice tubs. All drinks provided will need to be cold. Any extra drinks that do not fit in the tubs and fridge will need to be stored cold where staff can re-stock from.
